I’ve been drawing from a really young age and was inspired by the colorful marvel/dc comics from my local store that were conveniently placed on the bottom shelf which my mum used to buy for me every week. I wanted to be a comic book artist for as long as I can remember. I’ve always been an entrepreneur and interested in creating new projects. Over the years I’ve had a clothing shop, tee shirt label, a record store, DJ and still run a record label to this day. I’ve always had a very active and artful mind and loved to learn different skills before I discovered tattoos. I didn’t have any tattoos until the age of 33, the same age I started tattooing! The only tattoos I’d seen growing up hadn’t inspired me enough to start on my own skin. 2012 is when I started my apprenticeship and quickly found the tattoo industry was now a totally different beast, we could see the best tattoos in the world on social media instantly. My creativity spurred me on to see what could be achieved on skin. I had found my calling! I started to get tattooed by some of the best artists in the world, learning and enjoying all moments of my early career journey. I set up a studio with my good friend Jamie Lee Knott after a year of tattooing, not ideal with my lack of experience, however with Jamie as a partner it turned out to be a good move. I still have a real desire to learn and improve so I do this by attending conventions and getting tattooed by my favorite artists, no matter how far they are away. My journey is far from over, in fact I feel it’s just beginning and have so many cool projects lined up for the future, watch this space!
